Sous Chef - 5* De Luxe Hotel - Kensington (London)
Our client, a 5* hotel based in Kensington - West London is looking for an experienced Sous Chef
The kitchen team includes a brigade of 38/40 experienced Chefs and the operation includes a 2AA Rosettes all day dining Restaurant and Bar, 24-hour Room Service as well as extensive Conference and Banqueting department
As a Sous Chef you will be responsible for the management and organisation of the kitchen. You will manage the evening service for the 2 Rosette restaurant, as well as the Room Service function. Mainly the shift will be from 1.00pm - 10:30 pm, but with flexibility to cover as business requires.
As a Sous Chef you will be heavily involved in menu development together with the Executive Chef, including production of recipes, costing and allergens training. You will be expected to deputise in the absence of the Executive Chef.
The ideal Sous Chef will receive a basic salary between £36,000/38,000 per year and generous service charge
