Sous Chef – package:
• £30,000+ including tips
• SUNDAY and MONDAY off every week
• Split Shifts, finish around 10pm latest [sometimes 9.30pm]
• 28 days holiday [including CLOSED Xmas Day, Boxing Day and CLOSED 1 week in January]

Upon joining our family, you will take up the integral role of Sous Chef. Under the stewardship of our Head Chef, you will be empowered to make this role your own. Whether you are looking to learn new skills, hone your management and leadership prowess or contribute to exciting and innovative menus, we will supply you with all the tools necessary to progress your career and develop your craft.
We are ideally looking for an experienced Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef to take on this important Sous Chef role in our team. If you have gone undervalued and underappreciated in your current role and are ready to continue your growth and development, then come in and talk to us, this is truly a fantastic opportunity within a talented team led by a young, smart and sympathetic Head Chef.
Sous Chef – Role Overview:
We are proud of our 35 cover Restaurant, focusing on creative, modern fine dining and have set ourselves the goal of gaining 2AA Rosettes, and even more! We also have a more relaxed 30 cover Bar serving a variety of delicious, more traditional plates.
Our Head Chef has an excellent pedigree working within premium, fine dining Restaurants and he is passionate about the provenance of the ingredients we use.
You will have access to our very own Kitchen Garden, currently almost an acre. Furthermore, we are using some fantastic local suppliers, all within a stones’ throw of the kitchen, such as Huntsham Farm for our meats, Smarts Gloucester Cheese and Netherend Farm for our butter!
You will have the chance to manage the team of 4 plus KP’s for 2 days a week, when the Head Chef is off – allowing you to showcase your leadership abilities.
