Sous Chef-Experience/ Skills:

  • Previous Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef experience
  • Experience/Familiarity with modern vegetarian & vegan cooking beneficial
  • Creative mind, willingness to learn, excellent planning and organising skills
  • Positive, strong supervisory and good communication skills
  • Committed to delivering a high level of customer service

 

Sous Chef-Role:

  • Contribute to menu creation
  • Manage, train kitchen brigade effectively to ensure a well-organised and motivated team
  • Ensure consistency in presentation & quality of dishes
  • Support brand standards - training & assessment of your team
  • Manage food cost controls - contribute to F&B revenue
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and H&S standards
  • Deliver impeccable customer service
  • Deputise in Head Chefs absence
