This award winning Rosette establishment in the heart of the Suffolk is seeking a strong Senior Sous Chef to join and help lead their talented kitchen brigade.

This hotel with restaurant is near the coastline and offers guests and customers the option to dine within their restaurant and bistro, as well as offering afternoon teas, private dining and functions with a variety of choice and outstanding food.

As Senior Sous Chef you will be working with the kitchen brigade to offer a variety of fresh food choices for guests and customers using locally sourced ingredients and produce whilst creating fresh dishes to high standards for guests and standards.

Main Duties of this Senior Sous Chef role are to act as a deputy to the Head Chef with all responsibilities as required, run a environment that is clean, tidy and organised, assist and produce accurate stock takes, carry out quality checks on stock, produce and dishes, manage rotas and ensure daily food preparation meets recipe.

Requirements for this Senior Sous Chef position:-

  • NVQ Level 2 and 3 or Equivalent
  • Food Hygiene Certifications
  • Good written and spoken English
  • A flexible attitude
  • Restaurant or Hotel Background
  • Good Communication skills
  • Good Team Player
  • A real passion for the Industry & and eye for detail
  • Good knowledge of cooking techniques and styles
