This vibrant team want a passionate Senior Chef de Partie on a full-time basis, where it will be your duty to ensure all food is prepared to a winning standard, providing either a fine dining or high-volume dining experience to guests, depending on the event or function.
Key Features of the Role:
As a Senior Chef de Partie you get to oversee a section of the kitchen, be it pastry, butchery, fish, sauces, vegetables and so on.
All food is prepared in house using fresh ingredients and local suppliers wherever possible and will be expected to create and develop and set the highest standards of food quality and consistency.
A successful team player with complimentary organisational skills, and the ability to produce guaranteed results in a very busy environment, to an award-winning pub standard, enhancing the company’s reputation for consistently preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to the right quality that is second to none.
Helping the Sous Chef and Head Chef to develop new dishes and menus.
As a Senior Chef de Partie you will have to be passionate and confident in managing and training all Junior Chefs working with you.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
To be successful in this role you will need to be and accomplished Senior Chef de Partie.
Must have worked in a similar Chef role and hotel structure within your career, preferable working within high volume kitchens.
You must be passionate and genuinely able to motivate others, possess excellent organisational, complimentary communication and interpersonal skills, and able to demonstrate them in a trial interview, whilst showing attention to detail and high standards.
You must have a good understanding of all applicable health and safety legislation, budget and stock control, nutritional and allergy knowledge and food control experience.
NVQ Level 1 + 2, Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 is preferred but not essential.
You must have worked in a fresh food kitchen, having carried out your own food preparation and you must be experienced cooking from scratch.
Re-heating and working with pre-packed, pre-made frozen food menu items are not the background required.
You must be enthusiastic and willing to learn.
Own form of transport is essential due to the location
What’s on Offer?
A competitive basic salary from £21,000 - £22,000 per annum depending on the Senior Chef de Partie trial interview review, experience and knowledge.
