DoubleTree by Hilton, Cheltenham, is one of the finest regency hotels in Cheltenham, nestled in glorious grounds in the heart of the Cotswolds and proudly flying the Double Tree by Hilton Flag.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Chef de Partie with a love of cooking great food to join our growing kitchen team.
As Senior Chef de Partie the role includes;
• Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your section to the highest standard.
• Managing and training any Chef de Parties or Commis working with you.
• Helping the Sous Chef and Executive Head Chef to develop new dishes and menus.
• Covering the Junior Sous Chef during their absence.
• Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety at all times.
• Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
• To develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with the rest of the team and other colleagues.
You are passionate about great food and hospitality, with a keen eye for detail and works well under pressure. You have strong communication skills, are self-motivated and a good team player.
Experience as a Senior Chef de Partie is preferable, although this would also suit a Chef de Partie with experience in a 4* hotel environment who is looking to move into their next role.
