Job Title: Roving Chef
Package : 33k salary per annum + £3k car allowance + mileage + benefits
Roving Chef Benefits: Paid Breaks, uniform provided including shoes, 50% discount off food for up to 6 people, 50% off accommodation, pension plan, employee assistance programme offering 24/7 support and advice.
Working Hours: Up to 48 hours a week including evenings and weekends, flexible shifts, 2 consecutive rest days each week, no split shifts.
Your Development: Learning & development programme with funded qualifications, career planning, support and progression opportunities in fresh food establishments, opportunities to help design and create our seasonal menus and daily specials alongside our dedicated catering development manager, masterclasses, and supplier trips which are really fun as well as informative.
Your Role - Hydes Roving Chefs
Here at Hydes, food quality and looking after our people is key. As a Roving Chef, at Head Chef level, you will enjoy delivering excellent food standards always, working with quality fresh ingredients to deliver our seasonal menus and daily specials, in a friendly and supportive environment.
With overall responsibility for the kitchen, you will;
- make sure all of your team are committed and able to consistently deliver on spec dishes
- manage the rota for your team, looking after them to ensure a good work/life balance
- implement health and safety processes and maintain a 5-star rating for food hygiene
- achieve GP targets for the site, as well as managing stock and labour costs
