Recruiting now, this is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Pastry Sous Chef to be part of the recently opened Parker?s Tavern and to help continue to shape it as the ?go to? destination in Cambridge.
Parker?s Tavern is a high end, quintessentially British restaurant & bar opened by award winning local chef- restaurateur Tristan Welch, within the iconic University Arms in the centre of Cambridge.
The restaurant is a stand-alone establishment which also caters for our hotel guests and a range of prestigious events.
Despite being a buzzing environment, we value work-life balance and our chefs work straight shifts of c.42.5 hours per week, with two days off per week. Any overtime worked is paid.

The successful Pastry Sous Chef will support the Head Pastry Chef in supervising the team offering freshly prepared, high quality desserts, chocolate, ice creams and sweet garnishes.
Ideally, you will have experience of working in a busy kitchen, though high quality branded restaurant experience will be considered. You will be working as part of a large hotel producing al la carte, buffet and banqueting menu.
