PASTRY CHEF REQUIRED – Fine Dining Restaurant – SALARY: £27,000
Our client is a Fine Dining Restaurant offering a salary of £27k for an experienced Pastry Chef. The Pastry chef will be responsible for 6 fresh a la carte desserts and 2 types of bread. The successful candidate will have to manage the section himself and report to the executive chef. Food is prepared to the highest quality using the finest fresh ingredients. We require an experienced pastry chef to join this fine dining restaurant which caters for around 60-100 covers a day.The kitchen is closed on weekends, Christmas and Bank Holidays. This position is permanent and available immediately.
The ideal candidate will have:
·A passion for food made with the finest ingredients.
·Experience as a Pastry Chef within a luxury restaurant or hotel.
·Experience running the Pastry Section.
·The ability to work 3 double shifts and 2 singles a week
·Excellent communication skills and a good level of spoken English.
·Experience with ordering, stock control and waste management
·Ability to maintain food hygiene and safety standards
