Longleat Safari and Adventure Park has been one of the UK's best-loved attractions for over 50 years.
The multi-unit Food & Beverage department caters for approximately 6000 guests per day during peak months, and consists of quick service outlets offering a variety of cuisine from snacks and pizzas to quick service hot meals. At Longleat, the team is hard working with a passion for delivering the highest quality of service.
This year, we opened a brand new restaurant offering great quality wholesome comfort food for all the family; from rotisserie chicken and smoked meats, vegan tagine and classic fish and chips to a vibrant salad selection, hot brunches and freshly baked pastries!
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for Chef de Parties to prepare, cook, present and serve menu items (where appropriate) at all food and beverage sites across the Park to the standards outlined by the Kitchen Production Manager.
You will be responsible for maintaining the food production work areas, equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition and to comply with Health and Safety Legislation whilst maintain a high level of customer service at all times.

Our ideal candidate will have interest in food production and well as excellent cooking skills with a flexible approach to work to the highest standards at all times. You will need to remain calm under pressure as well as an outgoing and enthusiastic personality with a flair for excellent cooking!
A level 2 Food Hygiene, Level 2 Diploma in professional Cookery (City & Guilds or ASET or Equivalent), as well as previous experience in a kitchen environment are essential to this role. IT skills and an understanding of profit margins would also be desirable.
HOURS OF WORK
This is a full time permanent role, working 39 hours over 5 out of 7 days. The hours of work will vary according to business needs and seasonal demand due to the nature of our business. A degree of flexibility is required including some weekend, evening and bank holiday working.
The park is primarily open at daytimes, so we can also offer a healthy work life balance for our kitchen roles
