Sous Chef required for a 2 Rosette Gastro Pub in Lancashire
This 200 cover Gastro Pub uses all fresh quality sourced produce and you will be working in a kitchen brigade of 6.
You will be working a mixture of split and straight shifts 5 days over 7, my client is looking for a Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef from a 2 Rosette background.
Duties of the job
- Motivate and train the Junior Chefs.
- Maintain high standard of health and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Work well within the team
- Manage the kitchen cleanliness
- Set and comply with standards of preparation and cooking techniques and methods of serving food items.
- Pay attention to detail at all times.
What we need from you
- To be able to support the Head Chef.
- To have a previous 2 Rosette experience.
- To take control of the kitchen in the Head Chef absence.
- Encouraging and managing the Junior Chefs.
- Highly motivated and focused.
- Positive can do attitude.
- Input into menu creation and development.
- Adhere to strict health and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
- Steady career history.
- To have your own whites and knives.
