Here at Hydes, we are not only a pub operator but we also brew our own beer, and have over 150 years of history and heritage. Four beers are available on a permanent basis across our sites, as well as having an extensive range of seasonal craft ales. We operate around 60 pubs, split between both tenancy and managed houses. With an inclusion of destination food houses, local pubs and town centre venues.

We are now looking to recruit to strengthen our kitchen brigade at The Stamford Bridge, to enhance our strong team, and help us be the best at what we do, serving ‘excellence is a habit’

The Site

With its wonderful views over the Cheshire Plains The Stamford Bridge is the perfect place for customers to enjoy the lighter evenings in our warm & welcoming atmosphere or while away the wintery nights by our log fires.

The Role

Regardless of how many hours you work, our customers are in your hands. Our kitchen teams work hard and to ensure excellence is a habit, and this role is integral in supporting the kitchen brigade.

The Person

To ensure that you measure up to their high standards we require someone who can provide the following skills and attributes

Have at least level 2/Basic Food hygiene qualification but we can provide this if you’re the right person with the right attitude Have worked in a kitchen before Be flexible and the kind of person who jumps in to help out to ensure service is never compromised; Have the ability to cope with a busy kitchen Have excellent personal standards regarding timekeeping, attendance and personal presentation

The Benefits

You will receive an hourly rate of £6.70 per hour / £7.20 with the living wage premium for over 25s.

Hours: part and full time (including some weekends and evenings)

Holidays: 5.6 weeks per year
