We took on the Inn in March 2016, and opened the restaurant in June that year, followed by the hotel accommodation in July. The property had been closed for two years prior to us taking it on. We have spent a lot of time renovating the property and building up a solid client base. We have been awarded 4 star by visit Scotland in our second season and this year were awarded “best new discovery” by The Good Hotel Guide. We are a member of Sawdays, which we are proud of and this Saturday just been were publicised in The independent newspaper as the top dog friendly Inn of which here were 50....the only one mentioned from Scotland.
We pride ourselves on home made items. Everything from jams, granola, bread, chutney etc etc. We are gaining a good reputation and are now at a point where demand is outstripping our capacity. Currently there are 2 restaurants (outdoor seating with 20 covers overlooking the Loch) and we are in the process of creating a 3rd informal dining space at the side of the building.
In terms of the sort of person we are looking for the key thing is POSITIVITY. We are big believers in a both a positive attitude and a CAN DO attitude.
