Looking for an ambitious, inclusive and strong minded Head Chef to play a key role in the start up of this new venue.
Located in the Bradford city centre
The concept will be operating as a daytime venue, serving the ever popular brunch type foods, then in the evening, it will become a grill / bistro venue.
The candidate will be working across both of these functions to ensure the start of the project runs smoothly, and then on to create a viable and successful enterprise.
Proven working experience as a Sous/Head Chef - 2 years (Required)
Fully knowledgeable of kitchen equipment and utensils
Strong attention to detail
Ability to listen, communicate and lead a team effectively
NVQ Level 1/2/3 Professional Cookery/Patisserie or equivalent
· Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
· AA Rosette Experience
Overseeing food ordering and food preparation
Delivery of operations and managing a team
Ensuring you and your team are adhering to all food hygiene & safety standards at all times
Dedicating time to develop your team
Working closely with the Front of House Manager & general manager
Manage planning and staff rotas
Financial management of the kitchen: minimising wastage, ensuring cost effective buying, regular stock takes.
Menu development: sourcing and ordering local produce, keeping menus attractive to existing customer base and keeping up with current food trends
