Fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and well-organised Head Chef to be part of the renowned Parker?s Tavern restaurant and to help continue to shape it as the ?go to? destination in Cambridge.

OUR STORY
Parker?s Tavern is a high end, quintessentially British restaurant & bar opened in 2018 by award winning chef Tristan Welch within the iconic University Arms in the centre of Cambridge. With menus that are fuss-free but delicious, beautifully presented and made with locally sourced, seasonal produce, the restaurant is buzzing from morning ?til night but we value work-life balance which is why we offer straight shifts of 42.5 hours per week with two consecutive days off.

YOUR STORY
You will be an experienced Head Chef ready to lead a well-trained team in providing a first-class service to guests.

You will be totally customer focused by consistently delivering excellent customer service with an informed, friendly and effective approach.

You will be able to take control and ownership for the management of the kitchen department within the overall policies and controls established by the company, Chef Director and hotel General Manager, ensuring that the values and standards are delivered and budgeted profitability achieved.

You will ensure at all times a high standard of cleanliness and practices is maintained, thereby ensuring all statutory legislation is met. You will have a strong knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety legal requirements and ensure your team are focused on this daily.
