Head Butcher for Restaurant Monday - Friday £35,000 Putney
Industry: Hospitality and Catering
We have a great opportunity on offer for an experienced Butcher to work in a restaurant/production kitchen based in Putney. Hours will be Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm
The ideal candidate must be an experienced Butcher, be confident in working alone, organised and have skills in time management. A background working with local butchers, commercial butchers or retail would be preferred. The company produce their own ham, bacon, chorizo and sausages for all the sites.
If you are an Artisan Butcher who has some background in working as a chef this would also be beneficial to the business. The right candidate will really have chance to develop in this department, through using different meats/birds or cuts so they can use them on daily specials.

Our Minimum Requirements:
- Passport/Visa (Proof of ability to work in the UK)
- Up to date Level 2 or above Health and Hygiene Certificate.
- Chef Whites and Safety shoes
- At least 2 written or telephone referees/references
- Conversational, if not fluent English
- UK Bank Account and National Insurance Number
