Cooking up profiles on behalf of my 5 star client in The Indian Ocean who seek an Executive Sous Chef to join the brigade ASAP.

Passionate? Perfectionist? Enthusiastic with a good knowledge of hygiene and HACCP safety rules?

Responsible for perfect functioning across the operation.

  • Able to contribute to achieving the objectives across the kitchen – food cost, stocks, quality standards, etc.
  • You will ensure the brigade are in a good working environment and cohesion is promoted.
  • Graduate of an excellent European culinary school.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a deluxe property preferably across Asia.
  • Team spirit, organization and flexibility are major assets for this position.
  • Experience in a large high volume upscale property with at least five outlets and banquet facilities
  • Strong English language,  with Russian, Italian, French, Spanish, or German, etc. being an advantage.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently and effectively
  • Ability to increase productivity and continuously improve procedures and approaches while remaining cost-sensitive
  • Ability to manage multi-cultural team members and meet financial targets
  • Wonderful location to work with a wonderful package too, including salary to $45k and Service Charge.
