PGL have a fantastic opportunity for a Cook looking to develop a successful career in catering based at Marchants Hill, our activity centre in Hindhead, Surrey. Located on the edge of the beautiful Devil’s Punch Bowl, Marchants Hill is a diverse and busy operation that accommodates up to 550 guests and 130 staff.

The catering operations at our activity centres are modern enterprises set up to deliver excellence in both service and food as well as providing supportive and fun environments to work.

As a PGL Cook you will build on your experience and help us continue to drive standards. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your catering skills, including cooking, ordering, accounting for stock and staff supervision.

  • The ability to deliver high levels of customer service.
  • A positive approach to team working and problem solving.
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Staff Package
We offer a competitive wage of £15,700 to £17,600 per annum (pro rata), access to training and development opportunities and a free staff uniform.

Working hours are 42 per week over 6 days. The role is a fixed term contract with an immediate start until November 2016. Accommodation is available on site.

Successful applicants are required to undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure, which PGL will pay for. You need to possess the legal right to live and work in the UK to be considered for employment with PGL.
