Position: Commis Chef
Location: North Devon, hotel with accommodation available. This is an excellent opportunity for a full time, permanent in house commis chef to join our clients 2AA rosette 4 Star hotel. This is an award winning kitchen, headed up by an inspiring Head Chef who is keen to develop potential stars for the future. If you are an aspiring chef then this would be a great opportunity for you.
• Commis Chef duties:
• As Commis Chef you will be learning the skills required to work in a busy hotel kitchen, this will mean learning all about the larder, sauce and pastry sections of the kitchen.
• Learning the importance of health, hygiene along with HACCP food control.
• Training whilst learning on the job, this is a fantastic opportunity to join the team who are running one of the best kitchens in Devon.
The best person for this role will demonstrate passion for food, for learning and development and be able to communicate effectivley. They will have a determination to work hard and want to be a skilled chef. Further details and how to apply: The position is 40 hours per week with some split shifts, accommodation is available.
