We are looking for experienced, self- motivated, Commis Chef to join our outstanding kitchen brigade.
This role will give you the freedom to exercise your creativity using only the finest and freshest local produce to provide menus for our 2 rosette restaurant and to utilise your outstanding organisational skills in assisting in running Conference & Banqueting for up to 150 people.
Working closely with our Sous Chefs and Chef de Partie, the Commis Chef will play an active part in developing and creating consistency across our hotel food offering. In addition our senior chefs will make a commitment to supporting your own personal training & development whilst you in turn will support the development of more junior chefs.
Competencies of a Commis Chef:
You must be passionate about delivering outstanding hospitality to our guests whilst demonstrating sound food knowledge.
The ability to establish rapport and deliver high standards of service with a genuine and approachable manner is essential.
Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable.
