Crathorne Hall Hotel
We are currently recruiting for a Commis Chef to join the kitchen brigade at Crathorne Hall Hotel.
This is a full-time position to work 45 hours per week including spilt shifts and weekends.
Duties & responsibilities of a Commis Chef:
In this role you will be helping the chefs prepare any menu items to create dishes in our award winning kitchen.
You will be responsible for keeping your work areas clean and tidy and you will have a basic understanding of kitchen health and safety.
We will also develop you, to give you the skills to run your own section.
Skills, qualification requirements and competencies of a Commis Chef:
You will have excellent attention to detail along with a real interest in food and a passion to progress in the industry. The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ level 3 in cooking (or similar), however we will provide full training if you are successful in your application. We are looking for somebody who is keen, enthusiastic and willing to learn whilst working as part of our successful team.
