Chefs and Assistant Chefs required for pop-ups featuring a modern, new concept in fast casual dining in London. The food offering is centered around Fresh, hand-made, organic and sustainable comfort food, and the ambiance set up like an upscale and trendy cafe.
You will be expected to work 3-4 days a week, mostly in the evenings. Your responsibilities will include prep, cooking and clean up for a regularly changing menu for the pop-ups. The menu will be a limited selection of salads, chips and gourmet grilled sandwiches - all made with love and imagination!
The location may change on a semi-regular basis, but will be located in Central London.
This is a part-time role, with the potential for turning into a full-time role for the right candidates.
The ideal candidate will have
-- A few years of kitchen experience, preferably at a fast casual/cafe concept
-- Demonstrate creativity and passion for food and the restaurant industry
-- Be very well presented and people oriented
-- Possess strong Leadership Qualities and ability to take direction well
-- Have a very meticulous attention to detail - from food to decor to service
-- Ability to work well under pressure
-- Preferably possess Level 2 or Higher Food Safety Certificate
-- Experience and interest in raw, vegan/vegetarian, health-conscious cooking welcome
-- Right to legally work in the UK
Whats On Offer
