The Company and the Role:
Amazing full time permanent Chef de Partie opportunity, in the New Forest, Hampshire, working on unique, one off evenings, with Guest Celebrity and Michelin Star Chefs, in an award winning kitchen.
This is a dual kitchen role where your main responsibilities and duties are to support awesome Guest, Celebrity and Michelin Star Chefs during their cookery workshops.
You could be working with top Chefs and food experts such as Rick Stein, Tom Kerridge, Luke Holder, Steve Lamb, Tom Parker Bowles, Paul Ainsworth and Peter Hannan, just to name few.
These unique events can last across 3 days, with different Chefs and other food celebrities imparting their knowledge, skills, experience, and tips. Through practical cookery workshops and demonstrations, in a state of the art cookery school kitchen.
This is a dual role, because when these unique events are not on, you will carry on your normal Chef de Partie duties and responsibilities, in the Companies award winning kitchen, where you will be creating mind blowing dishes from scratch, for the hotel guests and customers.
The Hotel is laid-back luxury at its best – a stunning building set in the middle of the New Forest landscape. A multi-award-winning 32 bed hotel with a restaurant which has a different approach to hospitality – fine dining has been thrown out and replaced with a fun dining experience which includes seasonal, locally sourced and fresh British food with an Italian twist.
Key Features of the Role:
As a Chef de Partie, you will have dual role responsibilities;
Mainly you will be assisting Celebrity Chefs, Master Chefs and Food Connoisseur’s and experts during their unique cookery workshop events, over a set day period
You will work as part of a support team under the guidance and tutelage of Executive, Guest, Famous and World Renown Chefs and food experts.
Working 3.5 days a week, 50-55 hours during these unique cookery workshop events, giving you the rest of the week off.
During weeks when the unique cookery events are not on, you would work in the award winning hotel kitchen as a Chef de Partie, carrying out food preparation and cooking from scratch for guests and customers, but on a 4 or 5 day per week rota.
Knowledge and Skills:
You should be an accomplished Senior Commis Chef, Demi CPD, Chef De Partie, Senior CDP, or Junior Sous Chef, with experience of working in a fresh food kitchen at a similar level.
Above all you must be a real “foodie” able to spread the word to the Company’s customers about the importance of the art of serving good, fresh and local food in an ever-increasing world where convenience is becoming the norm, they need people who have a love and passion for all things food.
You should possess ambition to continually push yourself to move up to the next career level.
Your practical experience should ideally be supported by some form of catering qualification.
You will be a great team player with good organisational skills with the ability to thrive in a very busy hotel and restaurant, where the Company’s reputation for consistently preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to the right quality, is second to none.
You should have a passion for producing the perfect dish every time, having a desire to aim for high standards.
Previous experience in a similar role requiring a broad food knowledge and precise attention to detail is essential, with fresh, quality food and someone who can thrive under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.

What’s on Offer?
A basic salary of £20K – £26K per annum plus tronc worth around £2500 per annum. A live in option is available subject to a personal contribution towards the rent.
Working 3.5 days a week 50-55 hours.
Holiday entitlement is 20 days plus all bank and public holidays, rising by 1 day each year for 5 years.
