A new and exciting position has become available for a Chef de Partie to join a busy and fast paced hotel in Loughborough. Working with 100% fresh food, and playing a key part in the running of the kitchen, the successful candidate will be aware of costing and menu planning, and have the ambition to progress their career.
The successful candidate must have a proven track record as a Chef de Partie, be qualified to NVQ Level 1 & 2 in Food Preparation & Cooking, have knowledge of COSHH and HACCP, have worked previously in all kitchen sections and be passionate about food, quality and the industry.
A flexible, reliable and committed approach to work is essential as is the ability to multi-task, delegate and demonstrate due diligence.
• Complete daily preparation lists
• Preparing and cooking food to the required high standard
• Run any section of the kitchen/back of house operations
• Supervise Commis Chefs, ensuring all tasks are completed
• Ordering stock
40 hours per week
Any time over 40 hours can be claimed back as leave
Straight shifts: 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm/ 10am-6pm
