Job Title: Chef de Partie
Location: Hornsmill, Hapsford, Chester, Cheshire
Salary: Up to £10 an hour + Tips where applicable + Benefits.

Working Hours: Up to 48 hours a week including evenings and weekends, flexible shifts, 2 consecutive rest days each week, no split shifts.

Your Role - Hydes Chef de Partie
Here at Hydes, food quality and looking after our people is key. As our Chef de Partie, you will enjoy delivering excellent food standards always, working with quality fresh ingredients to deliver our seasonal menus and daily specials, in a friendly and supportive environment.
As a key member of the brigade, you will have an attention to detail, ensuring all dishes are prepared to spec, and have experience of all stations with the ability to produce a range of starters, mains and desserts. You will also support your Sous and Head Chef with food ordering, stock management, and maintaining a 5-star rating.
Your Site - Hornsmill
The Hornsmill was an old flour mill dating back to the 1850’s which sits on the western edge of the small village called Helsby. Overlooked by the beautiful Helsby Hill in it’s backdrop, the pub was refurbished by Hyde’s in 2014. In a perfect location in the Cheshire countryside just off the M56 it has a huge catchment area from all of the North West. There are many local attractions a short drive away such as Cheshire Oaks, Chester Zoo, Delamere Forest and access into North Wales.
Predominantly food led with a strong local wet trade and friendly experienced team, the Hornsmill, Helsby, is a fast-paced growing business that would suit anyone looking to add their character to the team or push their skills to the next level.
The Hornsmill, Helsby, features a large open plan bar and restaurant/orangery area for drinkers, diners and walkers, it is even dog friendly in the bar area. The team provides the very best in traditional pub food in a stylish and comfortable environment. One open fire and two log burners create a cosy atmosphere to enjoy in those chilly evenings. Our menu consists of an exciting blend of top-quality ingredients which also caters for all needs by our team of top chefs. We also recognise that good beer matters - with a full range of Hyde’s craftsman-brewed cask ales all complimented by a fine selection of wines, bottles beers and lagers from around the world.
