This acclaimed 2AA Rosette Gastro Pub in Kent is looking for an experienced and strong Chef de Partie with a proven track record working within Rosette kitchens to join their award winning team.
This modern yet welcoming gastro pub prides themselves on top quality local produce cooked with skill but simply presented, served by knowledgeable, friendly and professional staff who offer diners the option of a light bite or a full meal. They use the very best of fresh, local, seasonal food when creating dishes and cusine for guests and customers to enjoy.
The Head Chef requires someone who is capable and experienced at working within a rosette environment. He is also looking for someone who is relaxed and down to earth with a good attitude, to fit in with this friendly and passionate brigade.
Duties for this Chef de Partie position Include:
- Plan and oversee day-to-day running of your section to meet service requirements
- Follow all health and hygiene standards
- Supervise and lead the Commis and Demi Chefs
- Sample, smell and observe food to ensure conformance to recipes and standards
- Take orders from the snr Chefs and give tasks to Commis and Demi Chefs and check that they are carried out in the correct manner

Qualifications/Requirements of this Chef de Partie position:
- Ideally NVQ levels 2&3
- Experience working in a AA Rosette establishment
- Good knowledge of cooking techniques and styles
- Good understanding of food, hygiene and safety
