This Hertfordshire Hotel is looking for a talented and creative customer focused Chef de Partie to join their existing professional and talented kitchen team.

Being a Chef de Partie means having responsibility for delivering knock out, eye wateringly beautiful dishes every single day. It’s quite a challenge, especially in a kitchen that offers a wide range of cuisines and flavours, but for an ambitious and tenacious chef, who’s keen to develop and grow, it’s an amazing opportunity to soak up the experience of a large team of chefs.

As Chef de Partie you will need plenty of experience, an eye for detail and a great command of classic culinary techniques. You must be able to work clean and fast, preparing dishes from scratch and providing diners with taste explosions that will see them returning time and time again.

Requirements for this Chef de Partie opportunity are:

  • NVQ Level 1 and 2 or equivalent
  • Good written and spoken English
  • A flexible attitude
  • Passion and enthusiasm for Food
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Good Team Player
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (advantageous)
  • Train the Trainer Certificate (advantageous)
