We have a rare opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join this highly sought after property within Colchester.
The popular property has guests coming from all over to taste their cuisine and also offer private dining options for up to 25 guests.
The award winning restaurant serves the highest quality dishes using only the freshest, and local produce. The dishes are exquisitely prepared and presented.
All menus are ever changing with the seasons, to make the most from whats on offer. As Chef de Partie you will oversee the Commis Chefs and report to the Sous Chef and Head Chef.
As Chef de Partie you will:
- Prepare food on time, consistently and accurately
- Train and develop junior members of the team
- Be involved in the development of menus
- Manage and maintain a clean, safe working environment
- Be involved in stock control and orders
Qualifications/Requirements for this Chef de Partie opportunity:
- Ideally NVQ levels 2&3
- Experience working in a Michelin star or AA Rosette establishment
- Hotel or Restaurant background
- Good knowledge of cooking techniques and styles
- Good understanding of food, hygiene and safety
- COSHH knowledge
