The Cut is set within the Young Vic theatre and is one of the most popular theatre bars and restaurants in London. Over two floors the stylish, buzzy bar and open-air terrace host an eclectic crowd of theatre-goers, artists, suits and locals. The kitchen is open from 8am till 10PM Monday to Saturday.
First and foremost: you must be passionate about food and cooking. You CARE about the customer and WANT them to have a great time eating YOUR food.
We are looking for an experienced & passionate CHEF DE PARTIE. You must be familiar on the griddle/grill and great with fish, burgers,and grills. We love to hear from you if you are great at healthy flavourful and colourful breakfasts.
We do lots of events so you must be confident in detailed presentations for tapas sized snacks and canapés.
A positive attitude and the ability to cooperate with your colleagues is essential. You must be presentable, hard-working and punctual. With an outstanding ability to work under pressure and to use your own initiative.
FULL-TIME position available only.
Working on rota basis Monday to Saturday with Sundays off.
MINIMUM of 12 MONTHS UK experience as a CHEF required. But we would also love to hear from young chefs recently qualified. We expect AT LEAST level 2 in Food Safety.
Good SPOKEN ENGLISH IS ESSENTIAL.
You MUST have a valid working visa, UK bank account and NI number.
