Our client is an award pub company operating 7 sites in the South East. They are currently seeking a Chef de Partie for their public house located near to Sevenoaks in Kent. The position is permanent.
They are looking for a strong Chef de Partie who is keen and hard working to join the brigade at this award winning pub.
You will need to thrive in a very busy environment and enjoy working as part of a team.

Knowledge and Skills:
You should be an accomplished Chef de Partie ideally with experience of working in a fresh food kitchen at a similar level or a Demi CDP looking to move up to the next level.
Your practical experience should ideally be supported by some form of catering qualification.
Alternatively, as our client is supportive to the ex-military community, our client welcomes applications from Chefs at all levels who are either about to leave the Armed Forces or who have trained and served as a Chef in the Armed Forces.
You should have a passion for producing the perfect dish every time.
Previous experience in a similar role requiring a broad food knowledge and precise attention to detail is essential.
You should have worked in a busy kitchen and thrive under pressure.
You must have experience and desire to work with fresh, quality food.
You should possess ambition to continually drive the business forward.
You will be an excellent team player and leader who can respectfully communicate to the team.
You will have a track record of working with and developing strong teams.
You will have good financial understanding and have a track record of controlling costs and stocks.
You will have good knowledge of hygiene and health and safety.
You should possess a lot of stamina/energy to keep up to speed during occasional hectic spells of business.
You should have a desire to aim for high standards.
You should be reliable, hardworking, trustworthy and passionate in your work.
Standard working week is 45 hours working 5 shifts a week.
Basic salary will be around £16,500 – 19,500 per annum plus tips which will be worth around £80 per week. In addition, there is a monthly bonus scheme. Other benefits include a pension scheme, staff loyalty Scheme after 3 months; Uniform / Chefs Whites and Childcare Vouchers.
